We all have had atleast one experience in our life where we didn’t knew how to begin a conversation, or keep a conversation going on without running into a dead end or sounding really boring.

1 | Physiological Effects

If you ever see any person who is good around people, can start a conversation with almost anyone on a snap you’d usually see that they are always almost relaxed in terms of their physiology and if we look into their brains it would seem like they are flowing with endorphins when they can having their wonderful small talk.

So how does that happen?! The reason is that usually they develop self confidence at an early stage and some(like me) don’t really find it until later in life and if you’re in a situation like me all you can do to kick start your brain and make yourself feel a little more relaxed and confidential at the same time is to simply exercise a little.

How does that change your mindset though? Imagine you’re going to a social event, like a party. You know you want to be more relaxed and more confident to be able to start a conversation then just run for a mile or two, one hour before the event. This does a few things it releases the feel good hormone endorphins.

Endorphins make us feel good and relaxed in turn giving the necessary confident and attitude needed to really go and be more social.

Have you ever seen a few people who don’t talk much but as soon as they have a few shots and get a little drunk they suddenly transform themselves into the most social person you can think of.

This is endorphins at work. Running a mile or two will be enough for your body to go into a positively happy endorphin rich state without having the side effects of getting drunk. Trust me it always works.

If you can’t run out for some reason(rain, snow) or indoors then atleast do any other form of cardio or lift weights. Do anything that gets your body moving and you into endorphin positive state.

Next we’ll see what kind of mindset is necessary to have a good conversation which is usually never talked about and how the mindset can make someone shy and make them try to avoid conversations with new people.
